Taekwondo, Hapkido & self-defence for kids, teens and adults — taught by a Kukkiwon-accredited Taekwondo Master, right here in the North. Your first class is free.
Whichever one sounds like you, it's the same first step: a free trial class to see if Raiders is the right fit.
Martial arts builds focus, discipline and the quiet confidence that comes from knowing how to protect yourself. Several of our members started training specifically to cope with bullying.
Structured training gives teens a physical, mental and social outlet — fitness, friendships and a sense of progress that's easy to track belt by belt.
Self-defence, strength and stress relief in one — with the bonus of training alongside your own kids, not just dropping them off.

Raiders Martial Arts was founded in 2002 by Madam Koh Poh Ling, and is co-led today by Master Polo Teo. What started as community-club coaching has grown into a dedicated 130 sqm studio at Sembawang Shopping Centre, with 200+ active members.
We also run an official People's Association programme at Canberra Community Club — so you're not just training at a private studio, you're training with coaches recognised in the wider community.
Claim Your Free ClassNot vague promises — the specific things our members tell us changed for them.
Structured quarterly gradings (Jan / Apr / Jul / Oct) give a clear, objective milestone to work toward — not an open-ended "someday."
Joint locks, strikes and situational awareness from Hapkido and Taekwondo — skills built for real situations, not just competition forms.
Small groups, multiracial and multi-generational, where parents and kids can train side by side. Several of our members have trained together for 8+ years.
Taekwondo, Hapkido and dedicated Self-Defence classes under one roof.
Cushioned flooring, kicking bags, air-conditioning and full-length mirrors at Sembawang Shopping Centre.
Focused attention instead of a crowded floor — coaches who actually know your name and progress.
From Foundation levels through to Black Belt, with quarterly gradings to mark real progress.
Since I joined at age 6 the coaches have been patient, fair and just. The camaraderie at Raiders is second to none: everyone is welcome here and we are all here to learn and be a better us through Taekwondo.

A family-oriented martial arts club that welcomes families, parent and child/siblings to bond while developing new skills. Respectful among one another, camaraderie in a multiracial community.

As a parent, I constantly worry about whether my children are equipped to handle challenges in life. The Raiders coaches took special care to ensure the safety of all the students, whether for grading tests or competitions.

Most of our members started exactly there. Classes are grouped by level, and your trial class is paced for a complete beginner — no prior experience assumed.
Our studio has cushioned flooring and small class sizes, and our coaches are trained to put safety first — it's the single thing our own parents mention most in their reviews.
We run classes across weekdays and weekends. Book a free trial and we'll match you to a time slot — no commitment before you've actually tried a class.
The trial class is free, with no obligation to continue. Our coaches will walk you through class packages and current rates in person — no surprise fees sprung on you later.
Fill in your details and a coach will reach out to confirm your trial slot — or scan the QR code to use our enquiry form directly.
